[photo three men in front of a Wilderness Airlines plane] Ocean Falls literally had its head in the clouds on Labour Day. One of the feature attraction of the celebration was a display of sky diving.

[photo Labour Day booth] No labour Day is complete without a union information booth and the Ocean Falls observation of the day was no exception. Shown in photo are George Prosick, who donated his $25 float prize money to the Ocean Falls Centennial Fund; Gunter Hogrefe and Ron Horswill.

[photo Local 312 banner with some members beneath it] With banners raised on high members of Local 312 get ready for the Ocean Falls Labour Day parade. Nearly the entire community turned out to see members of Local 312 demonstrate their belief in unionism in a well disciplined march.
