Calling All Bankers

The local Bank of Commerce has recently instituted what is known as "rapid fire" teller delivery, PAY_PAC through which our citizens may receive faster and more efficient service. It would be greatly appreciated by the banking staff if those who wish to make deposits, would kindly make out their own ‘deposit-slips' for presentation to the tellers.

Ball Park to be Raised

Official notification by PML states that our recreational park will again be raised to a higher level.

During the early 30's a height increase of five feet was affected through laborious contract work by the well remembered Jens Neilson, a capable powder and quarryman. Earth was flumed from higher levels and heavy materials were "winched" or hauled to the fill-ins. In spite of this work we find the outer areas of the park are flooded when waters are permitted to rise over the Taintor Gates. An adequate supply of water is a vital necessity for the operation of our plant but nevertheless the welfare of the community should demand prime consideration in such an isolated area.
