The United Worker
December 1947 - Between Pay Day Loans
The United Worker was a monthly newspaper published in Ocean Falls by
Local
312 and Local 360 from December 1944 to April 1956. UBC has an
incomplete
collection of this newspaper on microfilm from December 1947 on. I have
gone through the UBC microfilm and made notes which I plan to present
here
over the next couple of months.
Common abbreviations I have used are:
PML = Pacific Mills Limited
CZCZ - Crown Zellerbach Canada Limited
IBPS & PML - International Brotherhood of Pulp, Sulphite and Paper Mill
Workers.
