Extreme quiet reigns at OF, most of the employees having left for the
south. The large supply of stores has been sent to Vancouver and one
might easily believe that the suspension of operations will be of
considerable duration. This, however, is not generally anticipated.

Vancouver May 20. Mr Justice Murphy has dismissed the petition for a
winding up order made on behalf of certain creditors of the OF Co. The
application was opposed by debenture holders.
His lordship in delivering the judgement said, "It has not been shown
that the order will have anything to operate on. I understand all the
company's property is in the hands of a receiver for the debenture
holders. The Petition is dismissed without costs"

The party of timber cruisers who have been engaged in cruising the
extensive holdings of the OF Co. throughout Bella Coola Valley have now
completed their work in this part and left during the early part of the
week for Kimsquit where the company also has extensive interests, The
party consisted of J.A. Burke, E. Bennett, B. McPhee, C.P. Carlsen, H.
Whittier, W. McPhee, T. Keeling and T. Thibidan.
