A large shipment of timber exceeding two million feet will be shipped to the East next week.

Work on the new dam at the outlet of Link Lake is proceeding apace. The necessary blasting operations are nearing an end and it is expected that the concrete foundation will be commenced in two weeks time.

The pulp mill is not at present in operation owing to it having been found necessary to make some alteration and adjustments to the machinery. The store houses, however contain a supply sufficient to meet immediate demand.
